We are thrilled to announce the 3rd annual Suits & Sneakers Gala, an extraordinary event that raises money to help more than 10 million people living with cancer today.

Description:

Suits & Sneakers is inspired by Coaches vs. Cancer, a non-profit collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Organization of Basketball Coaches. Coaches around the nation come together one weekend each season by wearing sneakers with their suits while they coach to demonstrate their support for cancer prevention, research and awareness.  Suits & Sneakers captures the spirit... of this event with a fun night of local food and drink, dancing, games and a variety of items up for grabs at silent and live auctions. Proceeds from the event benefit the American Cancer Society, which funds important educational programs and crucial research projects throughout the country as well as increases patient services in our community.
As we come together to party for a cause, the American Cancer Society will continue to save lives and create more birthdays by helping people to stay well and get well, find cures, and fight back against a disease that has taken too many lives.

The event takes place on Saturday, August 18th at 6pm at UGA's beautiful Stegeman Coliseum in Athens, GA.
